Geoff’s Blog [Feb, 2021]

Hi everyone!

First, I must say a massive ‘thank you’ to Cheri Freund and Paul Robinson for all their hard work on updating this website. It’s been much needed and is appreciated. You’ll find plenty of images to keep you amused. There’s also a new Projects page where we can both keep you up to date with what we get up to outside of tenek.

I’ve been keeping myself busy with various projects including my solo work which you can find on BandCamp  You can also find me by visiting my website too!

And there is an experimental, instrumental project I’ve been wanting to do for a long time called My Mercurial Drive. These tracks were written during the COVID-19 lockdown in early 2020, as well as using old ideas that were lying around on my hard drive for several months.

Wait, there’s more!..

Silent Unseen Productions

I’m working with my old school pal and bandmate, Gary Cantini. Writing electronic music that has potential for use on TV or Film productions. You can find our work on BandCamp.

Muzik Orphans

Another project with Gary Cantini – a dark electronic journey with a techno core. We decided to use sampled dialogue for this project instead of vocals.

Resident 24

Is yet another electronic project with Gary Cantini with a more free form approach. Just doing whatever, really! 😄

Murmurs of Earth

This is an award-nominated synth-pop collaboration project between myself and Richard Sinclair, who I’ve been working on and off with for a few years now. Epic pop tunes featuring more traditional instruments, but always with a sweet electronic core 🙂

This is a collaboration between myself and John Costello. We’re writing dark and hard-hitting slabs of electronic music. Good for clearing the cobwebs!

And, last but by no means least – I’ve also produced and mixed a track for an electronic project called Monuvention, which also features Pete Steer on guitar duties.

I hope you enjoy the new site and what we’re getting up to these days.

Stay safe and all the best!
