The Band

Peter Steer & Geoff Pinckney formed the electronic band tenek from Essex/Nottingham (UK), in June of 2007. Since then, they have produced and released 3 albums and 10 singles/EP’s.

tenek are all about hard grinding electro grooves, a power house of classic British synthesizer pop with stabs of driving guitar and percussion to bring in a slice of rock edge. Producing a unique crossover which is credible and satisfying to both the cult electro scene and yet retaining a mass market appeal through their melodies and hooks.

This high-energy band continues to have a considerable following in the UK, Europe and Russia. They’ve had radio airplay on syndicated programs such as: Passport Approved (USA), BBC Introducing (Essex, UK), Amazing Tunes (Scotland), as well as the growing list of independent radio stations, college stations & pod-casters around the globe.

tenek have toured with artists such as: John Foxx, Gary Numan, Toyah, The Human League, Republica, De/Vision, A Flock Of Seagulls, Iris and Assemblage 23…
